At Ecamundial S.A. (hereinafter, «Ecamundial», «we») we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, what we use it for, whom we share it with and what rights you have as a data subject, in accordance with the Ecuadorian Organic Act on Personal Data Protection and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

Ecamundial S.A., with tax ID (RUC) 1793215487001 and registered office at Av. República del Salvador N34-183 and Suiza, Twin Towers Building, 12th floor, Office 1204, Quito, Ecuador, is the controller of the personal data collected through ecamundial.com. You can contact us at hola@ecamundial.com.

2. Data we collect

We collect the data you voluntarily provide when subscribing to the newsletter, contacting us or creating an account: name, email address, phone number and country of residence. We also collect technical data generated by your browser, such as IP address, device type, operating system, language, pages visited and access date and time.

3. Purposes

We use your data to send you commercial information about real estate projects, market analysis and Ecamundial news; to respond to your enquiries; to comply with the legal obligations applicable to the Ecuadorian financial sector, including anti-money-laundering rules; and to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns.

4. Legal basis

We process your data based on your explicit consent when subscribing, on the performance of a contractual relationship when you open an account with us, on compliance with legal obligations applicable to the financial sector, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the platform safe and reliable.

5. Retention

We keep newsletter data until you request to be unsubscribed. Data of verified clients is kept for the period required by Ecuadorian anti-money-laundering rules, currently ten years from the end of the relationship.

6. Recipients and transfers

We share data with technology providers that offer hosting, email delivery, analytics and identity verification services, all bound by data processing agreements. We may also share information with competent Ecuadorian authorities when the law requires it.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, object to, restrict, port your data and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can exercise those rights by writing to hola@ecamundial.com from the email address you used to register.

We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or product improvements. The current version will always be published on this page with the last updated date at the top.
